When images or documents are attached to a claim, they must also be uploaded and synchronized to make them accessible.
Symbility Mobile Claims will alert you when documents have been attached, but aren't uploaded yet. When this is the case, you'll see a "Full image not uploaded" message beneath thumbnail images on a claim, or "Photos/voice annotations/external documents not uploaded" when viewing your Claims list in Mobile Claims.
To upload your attachments: first, log in to Mobile Claims. You must log in using the same username and computer/mobile device you were using when the attachments were originally added to the claim.
From the Home page of Mobile Claims, click Release Ownership, and then Synchronize the updates.
Tip:
Quickly verify if you have images, documents or voice annotations that have yet to be uploaded by scanning your claims list in Mobile Claims. You can even upload attachments from multiple claims at once. Hold down the CTRL key and click on the claim to highlight multiple claims, and then click the Upload Claim or Release Ownership options, then Synchronize.
Can I get access to a file that was never uploaded?
No. Until attachments are uploaded, the only file that is stored is the thumbnail image. The original user, using the original computer or device, must upload the file.
