How to Work with Assignments in Claims Connect

Assignments are used to indicate a company’s or user’s involvement in a claim file.  When a claim is created an originator assignment automatically becomes the default assignment, but a claim file can also have multiple assignments, each coming with its own set of statuses and permissions.  Assignments can be a complex topic, so we’ve broken things down for you into bite sized pieces.  This will help you find the information you’re looking for quickly.
